The True Pursuit Weekend is a four day adventure/journey designed to help a man recover his masculine heart. The True Pursuit message is a unique message that has been inspired by teachings from John Eldredge, Peter Scezzaro, CS Lewis, Mark Batterson, and many other mentors and influencers. It is a message that has been developed out of the teams own personal walk through breakthrough, healing and restoration. The weekend itself is patterned after the the Wild at Heart Boot Camps that our friends at Ransomed Heart put on annually in CO.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST
The cost of the weekend is $295.00. The price will go up to $325 after March 21st. The registration fee includes all meals and activities for the entire weekend. Register Now

WHO SHOULD COME
The True Pursuit Weekend is open to all men 18 and older. The weekend is especially for men who are overwhelmed with the craziness of life and want/need an opportunity to escape all of the distractions for a few days. For men that desire to be in an environment where they can actually hear from God, and a chance to recover what has been stolen from him.

(This is not a father and son retreat. Although many men have come with their sons, it is recommended that you both read the book Wild at Heart and discuss it before coming to the weekend.)

WEEKEND SCHEDULE
Check in is from 4:30 to 5:30 pm on Thursday April 11th, followed by dinner at 6:00 pm. The weekend concludes on Sunday April 14th at Noon. Men are strongly encouraged to come for the entire event.

LOCATION
The True Pursuit Weekend will be held at Timber Wolf Lake (a Young Life Camp) 4909 North Morey Rd, Lake City, MI 49651. Directions to camp, photos and more information about the property can be found at timberwolf.younglife.org

WHAT TO BRING
The Boss (Bruce Springstein of course) said that “everybody has a hungry heart” and I totally agree. As a matter of fact, I believe God made every one of His image barers with a hungry heart, that hungers after truth and life and healing and restoration. Whether you are a follower of Christ or simply a seeker…if you come to the weekend with a hunger, you will not be disappointed. . Bring a bible, journal, weather appropriate casual clothing (average high: 60 F, Low 40 F) – Toiletries, ear plugs…pillow, linens and towel are supplied by the camp.

WHAT ACTIVITIES WILL BE AVAILABLE
Some of the activities that will be available to you are…Skeet Shooting, Timber Carts, Giant Swing, Basketball, and Disc Golf. There are miles of hiking and mountain biking trails (bring your own bike).

CANCELLATION POLICY
Full payment is required at the time of registration. You may cancel your registration and receive a refund of your registration fee within 14 days of the event, however, you will be charged a $30.00 handling fee upon cancellation. In the event that you cancel your registration inside of 14 days of the event, you will forfeit the entire registration.
